I've loved basketball from my very first practice as a grade schooler with TJ McConnell and Payton Pritchard being my role models. My collegiate goals are to find a D3 school that offers a stellar academic background where I can learn and earn my degree in sports marketing while also continuing to play ball. After graduation, my goal is to work for a college or NBA team in their marketing/business department. Or perhaps to enter the ranks of coaching.
For the past four years, most Saturday mornings have found me coaching 5th/6th graders at my local gym. It's a thrill to pass on my love of the game to them and to see them improve week to week; but most of all, seeing them having fun and forging friendships that go beyond the court.
As a player; I'm an efficient and methodical pass first guard, excellent ball handler who loves to distribute and who takes pride in being a great free throw shooter. When called upon I have no trouble taking the shot or driving into the paint. I'm a team player with a high basketball IQ who plays just as well without the ball as with.
While I'm in love with every aspect of the game of basketball and play and train every chance I can get, I also have outside interests such as attending my leadership classes at Next Jump; an international organization dedicated to changing work place culture and developing leaders in all areas of life.
