Basketball has always been a central part of my life and identity. It would be my privilege and honor to be a part of any collegiate team. Becoming a college athlete is my dream and would mean improving my individual skills while also growing and collaborating with my teammates. Humble, determined, and dedicated are words often used to describe me both on and off the court. I have learned a tremendous amount from both my coaches and teammates throughout my basketball career. As the only freshman on my high school's varsity team, I earned the spot of 6th man, and learned a lot in terms of dealing with pressure and challenging myself. I was proud of this accomplishment and grateful for the support of my upperclass teammates. Academically I look forward to exploring new subject areas, while learning in greater depth about courses I enjoy--business, English, and history. Being a part of a team has taught me more than basketball itself. It has taught me how to balance different aspects of my life, how to be a role model for younger student athletes, and most importantly how to be a good person.
