Basketball has been my passion as far back as I can remember. I have always loved watching and playing basketball and taking every opportunity to play on school teams, AAU, summer leagues, skills camps, and showcases. The dedication and hard work I have put into sports throughout my life has translated into success on and off the court. I have lived on a farm my whole life so I know about hard work and responsibility. Although basketball is my primary sport, I play two other varsity sports (soccer and tennis), I regularly lift, I have excellent grades, am an honrs student, am an active member of the Honor Society, and played the trumpet since I was 10. I also have a job, and, this summer, I am an intern for a NYS Assemblyman. I always work hard, have a positive attitude and try to learn from failure and setbacks. I believe this attitude towards life has made me into the person I am today. I finished my junior year starting every single game, averaging 13.3 points per game (2nd highest team scorer). I work on getting stronger every year, more athletic and explosive. My jumpshot has improved greatly, and I have become a better ball handler as well. I have respect for all adults and officials, am very coachable, and I am really looking forward to playing basketball at the next level!
