Huljo Berati '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Huljo Berati, and I am originally from Albania but recently moved to New York City. 

 I started playing basketball seven years ago in Albania, where soccer is the national sport. I chose basketball because I felt I could understand the game better and I fell in love with it. I played for BC Partizani Tirana in the Albanian A1 league. I made it to the national team with which I have participated to the U16 European championship division C in Cyprus in 2016, and to the U18 Euro championship division B in Estonia this year. 

I was born in 2000, play forward, both small and big and I am 6 feet 4 inches tall.

I currently go to school at Tottenville High in Staten Island, NY where I have been selected by coach Woodman to the varsity team. I am scheduled to take the SATs on December 2, and I maintained a 89 average in my academic record in Albania.
