Lawrence Johnson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 1" senior in high school and want to pursue playing basketball in college and hopefully further. I have been playing 17U AAU basketball since the age of 15. I am a fast paced point guard that loves to distribute the ball and also score at the same time. I am best when the ball is in my hands or running the fast break in the lanes. I am a good shooter and love to try and shut down the other team's best player. I love to run in transition but also can slow the game down in a half-court set. I can play anywhere from point guard to small forward. I have been doing a lot of workouts with Brandon Triche (Starting guard at Syracuse University) and Sean Sullivan(member of Attack Athletics). I am looking for a university with the right mix of athletics and academics. At this point, I am open to the type of college I will attend. My goal is to win a high school state championship and go on to play college basketball.
