Michael Coletta '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Coletta and I am a 5’11 combo guard. Every since I was young I have always been surrounded by great talent. My family has always been full of athletes, so I was no different. The thing was, I wanted to be different. Since the age of 4 I have been playing all types of sports. The one that stood out to be was basketball. The reason for this was because I was the one who controlled the game. I was able to impact the game on a scale greater than I had thought. the reason I was able to impact the game was because of the way I played and work I put into the game. I have learned many things about myself through basketball.  When the going gets tough, I am not one to quit. whether you are up 30 points or down 30 points you must always apply pressure.  I was a smaller guard growing up, I have always had to find something to make up for my height. The things I used were Hustle and IQ. if you are able to outwork and outsmart your opponent, you are ultimately a better player. Now academically, as a senior I would like to finish the year with above a 3.5 GPA to further my education and basketball career to the school I desire. As for college the field I am most interested would be architecture.
