Hello College Coaches,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is DeVon McMillan , a graduating senior from Charles E. Jordan High School in Durham N.C. My aspirations of attending an excellent college and playing basketball at the collegiate level dates back to when I was just a little kid. Throughout my life, I have had constant support from my family and friends to help me build the humble and positive character that I have today. Since I was a kid, I was always told by my father to be "The Best Of The Best, in everything that you do". This has given me the mind set to always be successful not only on the basketball court, but also in the classroom. I believe that you can have all the talent in the world; however, like my favorite quote states, " Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" - Tim Notke . I strongly believe that I'm a good candidate for a collegiate basketball team as I am humble, dedicated, supportive of my teammates as well as myself, and always demonstrate a positive attitude. I am a good 3 point shooter and defensive rebounder. In summary, I am excited about the opportunity to fulfill my dreams of playing college basketball, as well as developing myself as a young man.
