David Gethers '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches my name is David Gethers I am interested in playing in a program for the fall 2016. I completed my AA communications degree at San Jose City College. A little about me I am 6'5 195 lbs from Jersey city, New Jersey I went to Tacoma Community College my freshman year and played SG/SF where I averaged 8 points 6 rebounds and 1 block. My dad died out of know where and I wanted to be close to my family so I moved to California where my immediate family is and transferred to San Jose city college. I played there this past season where our team was 26-4 we were conference champs and made it to the sweet 16 in the playoffs and loss. I averaged 4 points and 4 rebounds as the SF/PF there. Both of my years I have been a great asset to my teams I have been a leader, I bring the energy, intensity, and most of all a great defensive presence. I chose to sit this year out to get bigger, get better and hope for better opportunities.
