My name is Travon Jackson, I go by "Trae". I was a military brat as a kid. I started dunking in the 8th grade and was a help in Albritton Middle of Fort Bragg, NC winning their first championship in a long time. Military kids are slept on, other kids look at us as privileged kids, with no skills or talent. My drive came from that. That's when I really started to work harder on my craft and skills, so I could prove to those people that military kids can ball and be great. I feel that I'm the face of those kids that battles that stereotype. I am a great defender, aggressive, a huge rebounder, explosive at the basket. I use my basketball iq in drawing my opponents, so my team mates can also score, leading me in being a wonderful assist player. I score, but believe that everyone can eat and should eat in order to win! I'm working on excellence everyday, because with that, my passion, my athleticism, high drive and focus on basketball. I know it will pay off.
