RJ Colson '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony, but people call me RJ. I've been playing basketball since I was 5 or 6. I stated because my mom used to play when she was a little girl. Also, my uncle played, and I went to his games, so that made me want to play and be better than him. I am an A & B student. I'm a team player. I do community service with my grandmother and my AAU team. I tutor at my mom's tutoring facility to give other kids a better understanding of their school work. I enjoy spending family time. I like to travel to different places. I work very hard in school to earn good grades. I help other classmates to go further. On the court, I am a leader on the court. I am passionate about every sport I put my heart and soul into. I listen to my coaches to better myself on the court and help make team decisions. I have learned over the years that I can play multiple positions. I can dribble the ball if I need to get down the court. I can crash the board for the rebound and put the ball back up. I post up and ask for the ball to make a basket. Just because I stand 6'2" doesn't limit me to play down low; I can play a guard if I need to. I want to play where I can be versatile on the court.
