Personal Statement

I began to play basketball at the age of 5.  It has always been a dream of mine to play basketball at the collegiate level.  One thing that I strive to do is work hard both on and off of the court.  I am a great team player and I try to make my teammates better.  Basketball is my passion and I try to work hard each day to improve my game.  Things that makes me different from other athletes are both my positive attitude and my work in the classroom.  I strive to maintain great grades so that I have an advantage when it comes to being recruited.  I am hoping to pursue a career as a Computer Hardware/Software Engineer in the future.  I believe that I am a great fit for many colleges and universities in terms of both athletics and academics.  I hope my hard work will one day pay off!
