Once I graduate from college, I would like a career in athletics. I will be attending Barton College to pursue a degree in Sports Management, but I am not ruling out coaching or any other course of study that will be helpful in meeting that goal. As an athlete and teammate, I will do anything for the team's success. As a basketball player, I have experience as a point guard and shooting guard. I am a pass-first player who loves to get my teammates open and give them opportunities to score while controlling the pace of the game. I can shoot for the 3 off the dribble and on catch-and-shoot opportunities. I like to use my shooting threat and my quickness to attack and basket, kick out to teammates and push the ball in transition. I always strive to give my best and be a dependable teammate. Friendship Christian's athletic program emphasizes the importance of character development as a student-athlete. My character on and off the court is important to me. I played all 3 varsity sports including basketball, soccer, and baseball and was awarded All-Conference or All-Conference Honorable Mention in all three sports. Basketball is and has been my first love since I was 4 years old and I highly respect the program at Barton. Academics are a challenge for me. Learning to improve my grades and work ethic in the classroom has taught me the importance of discipline and focus, which has carried over to the basketball court. I will try hard and I will not disappoint you if given an opportunity to play for the Bulldogs.
