Personal Statement
My desire is to work hard, contribute, learn, and lead where ever I go. I've had to learn to be a leader, even when I have been the youngest on the team. As starting PG my freshman and sophomore yearS,I learned that in order to win, I had to make others look great, be willing to work the hardest and also lose well. Since my team, coach, and student body looked to me on how I would react, I've learned to not just think about myself, which has been very important for me as a point guard. My faith is a huge motivator for me off the court and on. It allows me to realize that I represent something larger than myself. I would love to be on a team where commitment to a higher cause is valued, be it learning, the institution or faith. I hope you consider me for your program.
