Personal Statement

In my sophomore year I started at point guard for varsity basketball at Covenant Classical School. I was named All-Conference and Offensive MVP. I led my team in scoring with 12 ppg and also led the teams in assists even though those weren't recorded officially. My coach was so impressed by my leadership, work ethic in season and this off season, and performance last year that he has already named me captain for the upcoming season. My goals for my Junior year in high school is to lead my team to a conference championship, average 7 or more apg, 22 or more ppg, 4 or more rpg, and earn Offensive MVP, All-Conference honors, and All-County as well.

I work out in the weight room 5 days a week and have gained 35 pounds of muscle since the end of the season going from 125 to 160 pounds in about 4 months. I also work out on a Vertimax machine 2-3 a week to work on my vertical leap, quickness, explosiveness, and speed. I do the Point Guard College 30 day challenges to increase my basketball skill set. I also work on my jumpers, including off the dribble and off the pass and my ball handling.

I pride myself in being constantly involved within the community. I volunteer at numerous organizations. I volunteer for the Mooresville Christian Mission, local soup kitchen, Mooresville Crisis Pregnancy Center, Operation Christmas Child, Eagle Scout Projects, and the Special Olympics.

My dreams for college is to play at any college preferably for D-1 or D-2, but anywhere that I can play would be great.

I want to become an entrepreneur and an investor after college.
