Personal Statement
I have a strong desire to play basketball in college. I am very dedicated and work hard and will always give 110%. I know that my desire and passion for sports, as well as my hard work, determination, and leadership skills, have been key components in my development as an athlete. I have earned starting positions as an underclassman on my high school varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball teams with great success; I've been ranked #1 in Southwest Ohio/Northern Kentucky in Soccer by the Cincinnati Enquirer. I was named this year Player of the Year in my league for Basketball & Soccer my Junior Year. I've also received many awards for athletics between both my high school and AAU teams, all the while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. I play way bigger than my size; am hard working, and always eager to learn and increase my skill level, and I am extremely coachable.
I'm confident that I have the talent to compete on a college level, especially with another year to build on my skills. I'm looking for a program that will be a great fit for me; athletically, as well as academically. I believe my strong work ethic, commitment, dedication, and desire would make a strong impact on your program. As a three sport athlete, MVP of my AAU team, and Player of The Year, I know I have what it takes to be a leader and strong asset on your team.
