Personal Statement
Before anything else, I am always a student. It is my professional goal to open an aquarium/research center for marine life. I am a strong believer of student athletes. Success in the classroom leads to success on the court.
My goal for basketball is to be the best player I can be. I want to learn as much as possible and continue to perfect my craft this school year and in the following AAU season (Midwest Basketball Club). This year I will learn as much as I can on the Junior Varsity team, and then I plan to come back as a sophomore to be a key piece on the varsity roster. My goal concerning college basketball is to be able to play and compete at the highest level possible for my skill set.
I am a leader on the court. I do a great job of communicating with teammates and have pride in my work ethic. I have put in countless hours behind the scenes. I believe that the best part of my game is my defense. Defense is about effort. I bring that every game. On the offensive side of the ball, I can do multiple things. I have a reliable three point shot that I am continuing to improve. I have a great pull up mid-range game. I can play in the post and have good footwork in that area. My best ability on offense is my court vision. If my teammate is open, I will get them the ball. I am not a selfish player.
I am excited to grow as a player and learn from college coaches. It is my belief that my “We over Me” attitude will make a great fit for any college program.
