Canidate Vickery '19 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my entire life I have been obsessed with basketball. Since I was 6 years old I have been learning the game from my father, as well as, studying guys like Lebron James on TV. As I began playing high school basketball I was blessed with the opportunity to play with great teams. My junior season our team would earn a  19-4 record and win the Conference Championship. I also believe within this  season I grew the most as an athlete, becoming more versatile as a ballhandler and scorer. This past season well prepared me for a successful senior year and college career.

    In college I plan to major in Education. I have always had a love for children, sports provide me with a platform enhancing both my leadership and work-ethic. My goals in the future are to one day become a coach in which I can both be involved with sport I love. and be an influence on younger children trying to achieve their goals. Along with being a great coach I am also dedicated to being the best college athlete possible. I bring a energy and effort to every game and practice that is unmatched. I am also someone who is dedicated to winning, but has the character to bring a positive attitude to any locker room. Basketball will forever be a passion of mine as I hope to continue to learn and grow as a player.
