Caleb Lovely '24 Recruiting Profile

     Basketball has been the biggest part of my life for 17 years. Growing up in the gym, some people would describe me as a gym rat. I would describe myself as a student of the game. 

     I pride myself in being a respectable individual as well as a highly coachable athlete.  My work ethic is unmatched. I started varsity as a freshman and earned All state honorable mention, 1st team all-district, and 1st team all-conference my sophomore year.  My junior year, I was pivotal in leading my team to their first Elite 8 appearance in school history and made 1st team All-state, 1st team all-tri state, 1st team all-district player of the year and 1st team all-conference player of the year. I currently hold the all-time scoring record at South Point HS.  As team captain my senior year, I earned an All-state honorable mention, 1st team district player of the year and 1st team all-conference player of the year, leading my team to the district semi-finals.  

     A dedicated learner.  I have met some academic hurdles in my early, HS career, however, I strive to continue to be the best student.  My current GPA is 3.2.    

     In the right program, I know that I will excel in taking my skills to the next level. Athletically, as well as academically.
