My name is Eliot Cummings, I am a Junior at Ottawa Hills High School in Toledo, Ohio. I have been playing on an organized basketball team since the 8th Grade. I am very interested in playing at the next level and participating in college basketball. When it comes to basketball I am a hard worker thanks to the coaches I have had over the years, I try my best to be a leader on and off the court, and last I believe I haven't even close to reached my ceiling because since 8th grade my skills have improved substantially every single year and I believe that I will get much better. I feel like i would be a good candidate for any team not only because of my all-around basketball skills is my willingness to be coached. Currently I am coached by two of the best coaches i've had and I do whatever they say because I know that they know what they are doing. What makes me different from many other recruits is I am a very versatile player because for all of my basketball career i have been a guard but since my team needed some help in the post I decided to play that position so If a coach needs me to do guard duties like shoot or get other teammates open looks I can do that or If I have a smaller defender or even bigger I feel comfortable posting them up and scoring on them. In college i would love to study fashion if offered because when I get older I want to own my own clothing line mainly because Ralph Lauren is one of my role models. But if that is not offered i would like to major in business or sports management because one of my other dreams is to be a NBA general manager.
