Personal Statement
My best attributes are my leadership skills, my competitive nature and my hard-nose defense. I work hard not just for myself but for my teammates as well. I'm a 5'11'' point guard/shooting guard. My love for basketball all began 6 years ago, when my dad took me to see my cousin play a game. I am always trying to improve my skills by working hard in the gym and at home. I watch lots of film in my free time to better myself and improve my game. I also work hard in the classroom to improve my education. I really learned a lot about myself this past season by being more aggressive, scoring more (as I am not a selfish player) and being able to talk to my teammates on court. One of my accomplishments so far has been when I received the MVP award at the Stroud tournament for season of 2016-2017. This 2017 to 2018 season, I have received the MVP while playing in the Nowata tournament. I work hard to be a leader on the floor by getting steals, assist and rebounds each game outside of scoring points. It feels recognized for all the hard work I put in. So far this season I have averaging 12 points a game , 4 steals, 6 assists and 7 rebounds per game.
