Personal Statement
As much as I enjoy the athletic life, I also understand the importance of my commitment to the classroom and community. My time management skills have proven to be one of my biggest contributions to my teammates and coaches. My ability to cultivate conversations with coaches and peers sets me apart and has resulted in respectful, long lasting relationships. My willingness to learn from failures and successes has been my greatest teacher. I know I don't know it all, I will never know it all, and I am ok with that. My "big picture" is very much an inclusive vision. I want my team and teammates to succeed. I feel my best when the buzzer sounds at the end of the game and my assists exceeded the game before. I love a good assist man, I love setting up my teammates to score. Its my greatest strength on the floor. I like to mimic my game to those before me; John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Magic Johnson, Mark Jackson, the list goes on. If you are looking for a utility player, who invests in his teammates, plays outstanding defense, never complains and has the endurance to play every minute on the floor - I am him.
