Through playing basketball at an extremely academically rigorous IB school, I have learned what it’s like to balance high-level academics with high-level athletics. In order to be successful in balancing these two aspects of my life, I have learned the value of working hard. This hard-work became evident this past year in my sophomore season through the many success’ I achieved. Athletically, I helped my high-school varsity team place second in the CAIS National Tournament in Quebec; I also helped my club team win the Basketball Stars of America tournament in Pennsylvania. On the academic side of things, I achieved good grades with a 4.0 GPA and achieved a good standardized test score that I still wish to improve on. I intend to continue working hard and doing whatever it takes to make my dream of playing college basketball come true.
