Personal Statement

Coach, I have 2 goals for college, 1st I want to get my degree in a field that I will enjoy having a career in and 2nd I want to continue to play and improve in the game I love,basketball. Since taking up basketball in 5th grade I have pretty much played year round, I mixed in some other sports along the way but basketball became #1. In 6 yrs of playing basketball, whether elementary, junior high, AAU, league games or now senior high there are a few things that set me apart from the majority of players, I play defense harder than all players I have teamed up with, I love the challenge to stop a player from scoring, and I care about WINNING more than any other stat.
