I am an athlete, a musician, an honors student and a student leader. I used to play varsity soccer (goalie) as well as basketball. But basketball is my primary love and my goal is to play college ball. I decided to concentrate on that sport exclusively. I am now captain of my varsity team. When I am on the court, I am a force multiplier - the team performs better as a whole because I defend, pass, get open and score. I have dedicated myself entirely to my development as a player. I am particularly fierce on defense. But I am also well rounded. I am the drum major for my school band, which means I lead the band at every football game and concert. I am multi-instrumental. I play trumpet in the jazz band, bass clarinet in the concert band and piano for fun. My academics are extremely important to me. I am a straight A student and I work hard at school. I am President of the National Honor Society and volunteer in my community. I am close with my family - mom, dad and brother. I love to travel and I am very curious about the world. I was chosen by my coach and high school athletic director to serve on the EPC Student Athlete Character Council which promotes ethics in sports. My approach to basketball is that I give it that I have, every single time, in practice and in games. I strive to be the hardest working player on the team.
