For the past 7 years, basketball has been my life and I hope to play competitively for many more to come. In order to achieve the dream of continuing my basketball career, I plan to attend a college or university where I can not only complete a degree in my chosen field of study, but be an integral part that school?s basketball program. I would like to select a school and program located in the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania or Southern Tier of New York, but I am not limiting myself to these geographical locations. I seek to join a team where I can contribute not only on the court, but off the hardwood as well. I have been a captain on every squad I have been a member of for the past 6 years. I believe that my dedication to excellence and commitment to working hard is key to my success and the achievements of my teammates around me in athletics and in life. It is a goal to find a college that recognizes these talents and allows me to grow them and use them to make everyone around me a better person AND basketball player. Beyond the dream of working with a coaching staff that can assist me in growing as an athlete, I look forward to the opportunity get an education. I understand that basketball, while my life?s passion is a game of sport, and I need to exercise my mind as much as I do my jump shot. I wish to use my talents on the court to obtain a degree that can grant me a solid base as a person. I have an unparalleled work-ethic. I desire to work with a staff that can allow me to put in the minutes and hours I feel is necessary to keep my game in the form that I deem acceptable and my mind just as sharp. I welcome the challenge to be an anchor and model of hard work and effort for any coach at any school who recognizes that you can teach hustle and you can?t train heart. It is my dream, my goal to keep a basketball in my hand as long as I can because I live for that moment when sweat is dripping down your brow and your stomach tightens because your teammates need you to step up and take the final shot.
