Personal Statement

I am a 6' 9", 220 pound player who loves the game of basketball. I am a strong, defensive player who likes to shutdown the paint for the opposing team. I am a very positive, team player. I am very coachable and maintain a good attitude during times of instruction and correction.

  • This is an overnight camp 4-days/3-nights in which players are placed on teams. These teams play ten games, nine three-man games, a free throw, 3-point, and 3-on-3 tournament. Players are split up into Point Guards, Inside Players, etc and have Intensive Positive Instruction. No guest speakers. All action from 8:00AM to 10:00 PM. My team won the 5 on 5 championship.

  • Coach Wootten’s Overnight Camp is a 5 day/4 night session of basketball instruction and fun for campers age 9–18. The goal of Coach Wootten’s Basketball Camp is to help develop a well-rounded, complete basketball player. Our philosophy is to instill in our students the fundamentals of the game along with a proper attitude toward it. We stress confidence, teamwork, effort and sportsmanship which we feel are important ingredients in achieving success not only on the court but also with family, school and life.
