Attitude. Effort. Hustle. For me those are the three biggest rules of basketball to continue going forward through each day. I play basketball everyday with a final goal in sight, to go to play basketball at a high level college, and achieve an elite education. As a player I can help a team by being a leader on and off the court. As a leader, I want to assist my teammates by helping them, whether it be during a drill or during a play, or even during a game. Even when I'm on the bench, I continue to cheer them on, and support my team. This is because I believe that having good energy on the court and off is a factor that can bring everyone up. I believe that no matter how different someone is to you whether it be height, intelligence, personal life, or even race that we are all able to do great things and you should support anyone willing to go the extra mile.
As a student, I'm in all honors classes and want to continue with my academics. Getting good grades in school is important because sometimes even if you work hard you won't be able to continue to play basketball and if you don't get good grades and study hard then you will have a hard time advancing through your life.
