My college goal is to graduate and participate in a sport that I love to play while doing so. I would be a good candidate for the team because I can get everyone involved, even though I'm not usually a point guard. If my shot isn't going for my I will try and get other players going by passing them the ball. I'm different from most other candidates because I'm not the tallest guy (about 5' 11") but I can make an impact. Also basketball isn't my only sport either, I have played hockey way longer than basketball and it has made me into the basketball player that I am today. It taught me to always keep trying no matter the odds, as I've played on some lacklustre teams. I bring that tenacity to the basketball court. I will keep trying to win the game even when the odds are stacked against us. I don't care if we are playing the #1 ranked team in the nation or the lowest ranked team, trying to win the game is the most important thing. Some athletes slack off in school and don't get the good grades, but my grades are great, I'd say top ten in my class. To wrap it all up, I don't really care where I play, it could be div 1 or in the CIS, i just want to keep playing and improving my game.
