Malachi Ancrum '21 Recruiting Profile

    Going to my cousin's camp really shaped who I am today.  His name is Shawn Brown and he is the coach of Charlotte Christian Academy and he coached Steph Curry in high school. I become interested in basketball when my dad took me to play recreational basketball. I was 6 years old and loved every second of playing. I have learned that I can do things when I really put my mind to it and that I pick up on things quickly.

    My academic goals are to get my grades higher so that I have a better opportunity of making it to great college with a superb engineering program. Teachers have said I would never play college basketball and this has only pushed me harder for my dreams.  I believe that I am a hard worker and a team player and I am learning how to lead a team.
