Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
I'm certainly not the tallest or most athletic player you've ever seen, but trust me when I say that no one loves basketball more than me. I've created scouting reports of my teammates, filled out advanced analytics to improve our team style, and even filled out player rankings through the statistics. If you want the flashy player who will get all the highlights, then I'm not your guy, but if you want the player that'll dive for the loose ball, take the charge, and make the correct reads, then I'm your man for the 2019-2020 college basketball season.
Last year, I improved from coming last off the bench to starting varsity point guard, which is a testament to my work ethic. During that season, I scored my career high against Trousdale County on the road while shooting 100% through the 3rd quarter. Being the only sophomore to play significant varsity minutes is a testament to my ability on the court, so imagine what I could do for your University for four years while still improving for two more.
