Personal Statement
My goal is to graduate from college, become a successful adult, and provide for my future family. I hope to be a four-year contributor. I want us to win awards and championships. I will represent my school through Christian behavior, a good GPA, and strong athletic performance. I play hard, I play smart, and I obey my coaches, which translates into wins. I am a clutch player known for passing skills, leadership, and buzzer beaters. For a natural shooter, I am an unselfish player who makes many assists. Losses upset me even if I score big. I can defend any position 1-5 in various situations, especially as a guard in the post. I am savvy with steals that generate fast break points. I’m a lanky 6’2” and create space when ball-handling on offense, which lets me slash, pull up jump shot, or smart pass. I finish tough shots. My rebounding is above average for a point/shooting guard. I will rebound for days. Also, I love to practice. I have good relationships with my teachers, and I know when to ask for help. College basketball is strenuous athletically and academically, but I love challenge and competition. I am ready. Playing college basketball will give me the proper education Thank you for considering me for your school and team.
