Hi, my name is Joseph Bauer, I am a 6'1 wing looking to play basketball in college. I am a very dedicated player, and I jump at every opportunity to improve my game to reach my full potential. My sophomore year, I was the only sophomore to be on varsity and helped us finish as state semifinalists. My junior year, I started several games but mostly came off the bench for my 3 point shooting, and again I was a factor in leading us to a state semifinalist finish. My best skill is shooting. I know how to get open and get my shot off quickly, as well as creating shots for myself and my teammates. I can shoot from long range, and I have a good midrange game off the dribble also. I play hard-nosed, disciplined defense. I only put up average numbers my sophomore and junior seasons, but with the graduation of 11 seniors, I will be the leader of our team this season, and I hope to lead us back to state. My dream has always been to play college basketball and specifically, to play at a high caliber academic and athletic D2 school. I would preferably like to major in marketing/advertising and journalism and go to a school in or near a big city.
