Personal Statement
Hi Coaches, I am BJ Wesley, a 2024 Point Guard from Nashville, TN., 3 year starter, Team Captain, Vocal Leader, Defender, Unselfish Passer, Play Maker, 50/40/87%, High Character, High Basketball IQ, Extremely Coachable, Hardworking Guy with a 4.0 GPA that works hard to get better everyday. I also have international basketball experience, having played in South America last summer with a 19U USA team.
I have a dream to play basketball in college and a goal to be an Academic All American! I absolutely love the game of basketball and know that it is a tool that can take me around the world, experience different things, learn valuable life lessons and make life-long friends. I also have a love for learning and will use my education to positively impact the world in a way that makes things better for the next generation of student athletes. I love to hoop and will no doubt be a player you can count on to be an all american at whatever role I'm asked to play, but you can also count on me to show up and work hard in the classroom and be an awesome representative of your program.
