I would not be who I am today without basketball. Practicing, playing, and being a part of a team has taught me about myself and helped me be the best person I can be.
I have excelled in basketball because I am really focused, and I have worked very hard to develop my athletic skills every day since I was young. My strength is being a consistent shooter, and I can play defense well also. I don’t get distracted when I’m playing and that helps me with performance.
I want to keep playing more than anything when I get to college. Playing has taught me with discipline and focus and hard work that I can do anything. In school, I work just as hard to keep good grades. I know I will work just as hard in college.
I know there is a place for me on your team. I have a lot to give to my teammates and my coach. Thank you.
