Personal Statement
I've been playing basketball since I was 5 years old, I grew up watching my sister play and it inspired me to play as well. I went to almost every practice she had with my basketball in my hand.
I have been the starting point/shooting guard for my school all 4 years. I led our team to 2 back to back State Championships, 2 District Championships and 2 All Regional Championships. This 2017-18 we won All-Regional as well. I know that I have what it takes to play at the college level and would love the opportunity. I am a hard worker both on and off the court. I have always been a young man of few words because I like my actions and work ethic to speak for me. I believe in learning and that there is always more to learn, especially about basketball.
As of right now, I am currently playing basketball at Central Baptist College. I’ve decided that I’m only going to stay there for 2 years and move on to another school. I currently have a 2.9 GPA and I am majoring in kinesiology.
