I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I played in my first tournament at age 8. I work hard to add value to my team. I have played on my school team since junior high school. I play year-round, sometimes on 2 and 3 teams. I aspire to continue playing ball in my college years.
I am a team leader in defense, communicating constantly to make sure we get switches, stops, and back side rotation. I strive for points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and steals. My wingspan is 79.5 inches for my 77-inch height. I am coachable, taking direction from my high school coach and AAU coaches. I push myself to be my best.
Off the court, I have taken dual credit and AP classes since my freshman year. I work hard to maintain a high GPA. I volunteer with Young Men’s Service League in Dallas/Fort Worth. I work approximately 20 hours a week outside of school as well.
It would be a privilege to attend a college where I can grow in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and look forward to finding a great college match at the highest level of competition. I strive to be a role model to my little brother and my peers.
