I began playing basketball at a young age, and have grown to love this sport. Over the years I’ve learned a lot about myself through basketball, and I’m excited about the potential to play at the collegiate level. I’ve put in the work necessary to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity through my starting role as Point Guard on my high school team, and participation in AAU basketball.
As a Point Guard, I have strong ball handling skills and physical defense, mental toughness and a high basketball IQ. I’ve grown into my role as a Leader, and I understand it’s important to lead by example. I’m coachable, dependable, and have worked hard over the past two years to win multiple state championships with my former Varsity team at Grace Christian Academy.
I also believe it is important to be strong in the classroom. I have a 3.47 GPA, and previously served on the Student Council as class representative. I was awarded 2023 Academic All State and determined to end my academic year on a high note.
I want to attend a college where I can continue to push myself on the basketball court and classroom, and one that prepares me for life after college. I’m approaching this process with an open mind, and willingness to explore all options as I find the right college match.
