Personal Statement
I have been described as the "junkyard dog" of the teams I play on. I have been characterized as being extremely coachable and having the versatility to compete anywhere on the court where needed. I can be placed down low playing tough in the paint and grabbing boards, or behind the arc making plays happen on both ends of the floor. Due to my size and speed I am often asked about my football aspirations, however, my heart is on the basketball court. Lastly, I have learned the lesson that nothing is given to you lightly. You must have the passion and dedication to be successful in anything you do.
Furthermore, through my experience as a student-athlete I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and humility. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. In addition, I enjoy riding horses, being outdoors, building projects and photography. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
