Since the age of four, I have been playing basketball. It all began when I was stationed at my third military duty station as an army dependent. From the very first time I stepped onto the court; I knew that I wanted to play at the collegiate level. This chance in life is a unique opportunity that could change the trajectory of my future, both personally and professionally.
My skills include strong ball handling, physical defense, mental toughness, and a high basketball IQ. I am not only a team player but also a team leader, setting an example for my teammates while encouraging them to perform better. I am coachable and assist my coach in leading practices and coaching other teammates to success. Each day, I am the first one in the gym and the last one to leave. I strive to be one of the hardest-working players and one of the hardest-working recruits you will find.
To improve my basketball skills, I work hard year-round, participating in select basketball, traveling teams, and prospect camps. I have been on an AAU team for the past six years and participated in the middle school and high school soccer and track teams for the past five years, which have contributed to my athleticism. I have been awarded Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 & 2022 and Player of the Year in 2021. Other award highlights include Player of the Game on three occasions during the 2023-2024 High School season.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. I have accomplished the honor roll on multiple occasions throughout my high school years. Instructors and faculty have awarded me high honorable mentions for my academic and ethical performance in the classroom. Additionally, I volunteer at the local youth recreation center on the military installation of Fort Cavasos in Central Texas.
I am open to all options when it comes to attending college. I want to attend a college where I can push myself academically and on the basketball court. Ultimately, I hope to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. My ultimate goal is to serve as a role model to my peers in my community and to make my parents proud.
