Personal Statement

I am a 6'5" small forward/wing from Lake Dallas, Texas. I have been starter on the varsity basketball program for the last 3 years and have contributed by playing all positions on the court.   I truly enjoy being a team player and helping my team get better in any way I can.

Currently I carry a 3.6 GPA and scored 1110 on the SAT.   Throughout my academics I have taken both dual credit classes along with AP classes.  Also I am part of our district PALs (Peer Assistance and Leadership) program where I mentor younger students, enabling them to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the court. I would like to pursue a college or university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of business. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.
