Personal Statement
My dream is to play college basketball, but first we need to win the state title in my senior year. In a world of "iso-ball" and selfish play, I believe in being a team first player. This past year I was named to the Texas All-Region 3-5A Team, name Defensive Player of the Year, and made 1st Team All District. I helped our team reach the Region Finals and a top 5 ranking in Texas. I believe in playing strong defense, shot creating, and getting everyone involved. Those are some of my best assets that I bring to any team. I have played against some of the best and can hold my own.
What makes me different? I have a chip on my shoulder, because I am underrated. I have played against ESPN 100 nationally ranked players for my high school career. I also am getting great advice on my progression from my mentor Wayne Turner (a University of Kentucky HOF player). I am coachable and will do whatever it takes to win. Lastly, I am fortunate that I am in early college, so I definitely have the ability to operate as a student-athlete in college. The only thing I ask for is a chance to prove myself.
