Jordon Halter '22 Recruiting Profile

Student Athlete with a passion & commitment to the game of basketball.  With my commitment comes hard work and dedication knowing that each day is a day to improve and grow in my game.  My height, now being 6 ft is an underdog in this sport, however, I also use it as a strength.  The GASO Organization recently tweeted, "Jordon will use his craftiness and quickness to pass the defenders".  I will always find a way to turn my underdog qualities into trophies as taught by my mentor this past year, Kenny Hampton.  

My mother taught me nothing comes easy and I will continue to work hard.  2020 was a hard year for many and through it all I attended school f/t with a 3.67 GPA, worked 18-20 hours a week at Kroger and trained 5 days a week.  My coaches will all tell you that I am the first in the gym and the last to leave. I gladly own that "Gym Rat" title.  I want to take my strengths to a school where I can be leveraged in that PG/SG role and gain an education in Business.  I'm surrounded by entrepreneurs in my family and I look to follow in their footsteps with a business of my own some day.  

I am a Christian and I believe God already has my path perfectly planned.  So I walk confidently in that each day knowing my time will come and when it does, I'll be fully ready to capitalize on those moments for myself and my team.  My life verses are Philippians 4:13 and Isaiah 54:17.
