My name is Zachary E Minnifee the third and I am 17, I'm looking forward to going to college and experiencing how the college life is. I'm a really outgoing person and I like to joke around but when it comes to playing basketball I get serious. At home I work hard in the garage to enhance my ball handles and go to the park or gym near my house to put out that work against other people. I'm usually at the park or 24hr fitness on 75 and Royal but if I'm not there my dad will be there (Steven Sanders).
My step dad was the one to introduce me to basketball. He put a ball in my hand and "said show me what you got" so I shot the ball, I missed by a mile to be honest but I was fast and tall as a 10 year old kid. I have a big heart and like to accept everyone into my social circle because when I was little I had some talent for my age but the older kids didn't like the thought of a 4th grader leading their team in points so no one picked me up. That made me like playing with smaller kids on my team, to give them a chance, that's just how I am.
I'm really good at math, science and pretty decent in Social studies but when it comes to English I'm not the best. I like school and everything that comes with it but one of my goals is to bring my GPA up, Making it into college, and playing basketball. I don't have that sad story everyone else has. My mom got pregnant and got out of Oak Cliff, She had another baby and left to the army. My biological dad was supposed to keep us but he just dropped us off at our grandmothers and took the money my mother was sending home every month
