Charles Blair '20 Recruiting Profile

    Hello whoever this is that is currently reading this. I am Charles Bennett Blair (I prefer to go by Bennett) and I am a freshman basketball player at San Marcos Academy. I play shooting guard and point guard, and as a player I prefer to pass the ball than shoot (though I can shoot when open), and I am a better defender than offensive player. In my only three games, where I played about one quarter in each, I have four steals and have yet to let someone score in my zone with our 2-3 zone scheme (where I mostly play as one of the top two). I have only scored one point on making one of two free throws, and I have only attempted one shot which I missed and the website would not let me put zero as my shooting percentage so I just left it as the default. The stats I have up are the stats of three games and I unfortunately did not play much in any of those games. I know I have a lot of room to grow and improve as a player, and I enjoy taking in what my coaches tell me and applying those things to my game. Everyone tells me that I have a good eye for the game and that I would probably be a better coach than a player, but it seams a lot more fun to play in the game.
