Personal Statement

Hi my name is Joseph Prejean and my goal is to make my mom, and my granny proud also to be able to make it pro to take care of them,  and my siblings. The difference about me from others is that I work extremely hard every single day for the sport that I love, and I would give 110% and everything that I have for this sport.

My collegiate goals are to pursue a degree in sports management as I prepare for life off the court. My true position on the court is a point guard and in that position you're required to be the coach on the court. With that being said, I have a high IQ for the game. I am very coach-able and fast learning.

The difference between myself and other talented players is my ability to listen and execute instruction. In the classroom, I am just as focused and am only satisfied if I obtain a B or better. Outside of my parents emphasizing the importance of school, I understand that it helps with the critical thinking utilized on the court.
