As far back as I can remember there has always been a ball in my hand. Since I was home schooled in my earlier years, I spent most of my time playing city league baseball. During middle school I started to attended a small private school were I was first exposed to organized basketball. This is where my skills began to develop, and I grew a love for the game.
It was at this school where I learned the importance of not only athletic ability but academic capability. I worked hard and have maintained over a 4.0 GPA for my entire high school career. I am in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and a big part of the Missions team at my school. What I am looking for in a college is a place that I can play sports and and get the college degree I would like to achieve.
I have been a starter every year that I have played. Although I have been motivated to always improve my skill, it has been through my coach's encouragement to continue to pursue basketball. It takes more than just one player to make a team, so my goal is to find a team that has players that want to continue to work hard as well. Also I want to find coaches that strive to invest in their players. With hard work, I hope to continue to play basketball as long as I can.
