Personal Statement
I am a 6'3" combo guard that played my freshman season (2016-2017) at Wenatchee Valley College. In the (2017-2018) season I was granted a medical hardship. I am looking to transfer to a 4 year university to finish my collegiate career. I graduated from Wenatchee Valley College with an associates in General Studies. In (2019-2020) I played at Chemeketa Community college, for Coach Abderhalden. Our team had a successful season making it to the playoffs but ended as Covid-19 suspended all playoff games.
I played both the 1 and 2 position at Wenatchee Valley College for Coach McGinnis. Coach McGinnis relied on me to create offense by attacking and collapsing defenses. Once we adjusted our offense to more of a pick and roll spreading the floor, I averaged 16 points per game over the final 9 games of the season. For coach Abdehalden I was placed into a role early due to injuries on the team. For more than half of the season I played the 4 and 5 position as a result of those injuries. This was a tough task for me physically and mentally but I battled adversity well, having the versatility to guard 1-4 effectively. This experience has allowed me to develop different skills that are needed to play at the next level. I'm a two way guard who can attack the basket, distribute, dribble and knock down shots from the perimeter, and guard most positions. I will be an asset to your team and to your school. I am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead and would like to thank my parents, teachers, coaches and God for providing me the support system that is necessary to make my dream a reality.
Looking forward to hear from you!
