Mark Burton '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to complete a four year degree and continue on to post the graduate level to earn a doctorate degree as I believe that educating oneself is a necessary component to opening the doors of opportunity.
What makes me a good candidate for a team is that I lived the majority of my life overseas as a military child both in Europe and Asia and consider myself well traveled and capable of understanding many cultures. I believe this to be a very good attribute in a global world. I am a very hard worker both academically and on the basketball court. I believe my work ethic sets me apart from many. It is my work ethic that propels me to succeed both academically as well athletically. I learned these traits at a very early age and understand that if it were easy everyone would have it!
