Personal Statement

Goals for my college career include participating on a collegiate level basketball program, graduating with a Bachelor degree, and finding the groundwork for my future career. I would be a great candidate for a coaches team by being a leader and good example on and off the court, helping my teammates become better players and people, and working hard in practice as well as in school. I am always looking for ways to express good sportsmanship. I have also played several sports throughout school and being in a small school I have had a lot of opportunities and chances to excel academically and athletically.

  • Coaches Evaluation: Rating 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. Shooting: 4 Passing: 4 Ball Handling/Moves: 3 Rebounding: 4 Defense: 4. Comments from coaches at showcase: Lucas has a nice looking shot and he was able to knock doen a few shots at the showcase. He is a solid defender and I thought he did a nice job keeping his guy in front of him. I'd like to see him improve his ball handling and add a pull up jumper to his game, also getting to the hoop and finishing over a bigger defender is another thing to work on. Overall, Lucas played solid and I can tell he has a good feel for the game! Mountain Hoops Comments: We know Lucas has been a good player at the small school level and has put up big points. It was obvious that he can shoot the ball at a high level. We believe he has a chance to play at a junior college level. We will be keeping tabs on his senior season.
