My collegiate aspirations and goals are to play basketball in a good college team, even if it is not a division 1 school. What would make me a good candidate for their teams is that I bring positive energy to the teammates and coaches. My coach tells me all the time that I’m a good leader and I always encourage my teammates wether we win or loose. The differences that I have with other recruits in terms of athletics and academics are that in terms of athletic regards are that I play a crucial role on offense but I need to work more on the defensive side of the court and I need to improve my defensive skills. In terms of academics are that my areas of improvement are to boost up my GPA because I know what I am capable of. What makes me different to other recruits in terms of academics is that some student athletes have a better GPA than me and they are good at different classes that I’m good at. In terms of athletics what makes me different to other recruits is that I’ve never been in the starting lineup even if I play a good amount of time in the game. In addition, my teachers in academics say that I’m a good student who completes assessments with good proficiency, they also say that I’m a very dedicated student who always works hard in every class. My grades now at the end of the first semester are mostly B and C. And I know I can boost my C to a B if I’m willing to put the extra effort.
